Instructions
Cook the bow tie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Italian sausage, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Pour in diced tomatoes, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
Notes
For extra spice, use spicy Italian sausage or add red pepper flakes. Fresh herbs enhance the dish!
